Happy St. Patrick's Day

Dawn McCarthy  March 2018   The Beauty Battalion

March hosts St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, and National Puppy Day on March 23rd.  I love both of these holidays for many reasons. Call it the power of the shamrock, the charm of the leprechaun, or just the luck of the Irish, but March is full of fun times and the kick off of Spring. First, I still think and call Josie my puppy. So, when is a puppy really not considered a puppy any longer? They say puppies mature into adults at a different time depending on their breed.  Large dog breeds mature into adults around 15 months and smaller breeds will be puppies for only 9 months.  This is important to note since you'll need to feed a large dog breed specially formulated puppy food for much longer than you would a smaller breed dog. So, according to this-Josie is not a puppy anymore-but to me she will always be my little pup.

You are a “Dog Chinese zodiac animal” if you are born in one of these years: 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018.  I am actually a Monkey-according to the Chinese Zodiac…kinda fun to see what animal you are?
